About Explicit Coffee Company

The idea for Explicit Coffee Company was brought to life with several impacting factors. As a mid- 40’s single woman, I had a few younger men in my life which led to lots of laughs regarding cougars and cubs. A life changing event helped me realize each day on this earth is a gift.
After pursuing an additional nursing degree, I was inspired by a cub in my life to start a coffee business. A name was finalized and I and became the CEO of Explicit Coffee Company in February 2024. The same week I was blind-sided with a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma and lost my job as a registered nurse. Once a very physically active woman enjoying hot yoga, hiking, and a variety of outdoor activities, I no longer had the ability to care for myself, my home or ambulate independently due to excruciating hip and pelvic pain. This led to such an appreciation for each day, breath, hug from a loved one. Now after several months of treatment there is hope for remission and life is returning to ‘normal’…
The universe has showered me with a full support system- amazing children, friends, and family. Maintaining positivity and moving forward, I created the company brought on with suggestions and fun ideas for one liners/logo inspirations from those close to my heart, who understand my zest for life.
